Credits and AI models

Each generation costs credits. Automatic repair runs are not charged — if a build breaks and the platform fixes it, that attempt is on us.

Choosing a model

Admins pick the models in Admin → AI Models: one for text, one for images. Stronger models produce cleaner edits, follow the surgical-diff rules more reliably, and need fewer repair passes — which usually makes them cheaper in practice than a weak model that has to be corrected twice.

If a model returns nothing

Some models on OpenRouter are unavailable or renamed without notice. The platform detects an empty or failed response and retries once with the default model, so a bad model choice degrades rather than dead-ends. If a model consistently produces nothing, switch it in Admin.
