Deploying platform updates

What the deploy script guarantees

• It builds first, while the old version keeps serving. A failed build aborts and leaves the running site untouched.
• It verifies the build output actually exists — a build command can succeed while producing nothing usable.
• After restarting it waits for the app to answer HTTP, and fails loudly with recent logs if it does not.

If it prints Deploy aborted, your site is still up on the previous version. Fix the build error and run it again.
